Lifeline is a federal government program that assists qualifying eligible-income consumers with a discount on internet and telephone service. The program reduces the cost of qualifying service in Colorado, Nebraska, and Kansas.

Link-Up is a government program for residents of federally recognized Tribal lands that provides a discount on the activation charge, up to $100. Tribal land residents may also qualify for enhanced Lifeline assistance up to an additional $25.

To Sign Up for Lifeline, Follow These Simple Steps:

  1. Visit your nearest Viaero Wireless store to fill out an application and learn more about the program.
  2. Pick up your phone or choose the rate plan and phone that fits your needs.
  3. Once your application is processed, you'll start receiving a monthly bill credit. 

Viaero Lifeline Program - Colorado and Kansas (1,000 minutes/ 1,000 text messages/ 5 GB data)

You may qualify for free or discounted Viaero Wireless service if you reside in Colorado* or Kansas* and are currently receiving benefits from one of the following programs:

  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as Food Stamps
  • Medicaid
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
  • Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA)
  • Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit
  • Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance**
  • Head Start (only households meeting the income qualifying standard)**
  • Tribally-Administered Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TTANF)**
  • Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR)**

OR if your household income is at or below 135% of the federal poverty guidelines:

*Includes the Federal LIFELINE and Link-Up Programs. **Must reside on Tribal lands. Lifeline is a government assistance program. Only eligible consumers may enroll in the program. Lifeline is limited to one discounted service per household, either wireless or wireline. Lifeline service may not be transferred, even to another eligible person. Applicants must present documentation of household income or participation in qualifying programs. Some States may use a different household income level as their Lifeline eligibility criterion. The federal poverty guidelines are periodically updated in the Federal Register by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services under the authority of 42 U.S.C. 9902(2).
